Winnipeg Public Library has 2 great opportunities coming up! Starting in November we are offering 6-week writing workshops just for youth at the St. John’s and West End Libraries.
At St. John’s Library (204-986-4689), journalist and writer Rosanna Deerchild (get her book, “This is a Small Northern Town” at the Library) leads the “North End Writers Club” – starting November 10:

At West End Library (204-986-4677), writer and poet Katherena Vermette (she just published her first book “North End Love Songs” – get it at the Library) leads “West End Stories and Poems and…” starting November 8:

Both these workshops are totally FREE. Participants will receive some great giveaways (writers notebooks, instructional and inspiring books and more). Food and refreshments are included every week.
